Signalment
51/2 year old domestic short haired tabby cat, male neutered, presented with a two weeks history of exercise intolerance that started acutely with inability to jump as usual. The cat was administered prednisone. It helped the cat but still difficulty jumping. Two days after the steroids was done, he was back to this clinical signs. CK was slightly elevated on the chemistry panel was 1476 on presentation.
Neurological examination
Exercise intolerance. The cat is in a crouched position and tires after only 3-4 steps. The reflexes are all normal including the cranial nerve exam. No spinal pain is noted.
