Dr. Stacy Armstrong

Dr. Stacy Armstrong is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care with 11 years of experience in critical and emergency care, small animal medicine and surgery.

Stacy is a Texan native who decided at the age of 12 to pursue veterinary medicine. She attended Texas A&M for her undergraduate studies for 3 years before being accepted into Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2000. She then moved to Arlington, Texas and completed a one year internship in emergency medicine and critical care at I-20 Animal Medical Center. After this, she moved to south Florida to complete a 4 year residency in small animal emergency and critical care at Veterinary Specialists of South Florida in July 2005. After finishing her residency, Stacy worked at a private specialty practice in Austin, TX for 3 years then a practice in Tucson, AZ before deciding to move back to Florida.

Stacy enjoys all aspects of the management of critical patients but has special interest in endocrine emergencies, electrolyte disorders, and post-op care.

Outside of work, Stacy enjoys running SCUBA diving and softball. She also loves just spending time with her cats and dog, Kira.
